The Blue Bird--L'Oiseau Bleu

This witty parrot wears a jaunty crown. A real conversation starter, this bird looks ready to speak.

This picture has a special story. I wanted an opportunity to paint in a contest with my peers and I had put my name in the hat to paint a bird live in front a filmed audience. I was praying and manifesting with everything I had and so when my mentor Elli pulled my name first from the hat I was over the moon. This painting is a fulfillment of all that magical energy. 

In the fairytale, the Blue Bird, the transformed prince visits the trapped princess in her tower and they stay devoted to each other until they both achieve freedom. The painting helps the viewer find their freedom and focus on their best life.
