I have long loved the magical woman Brigit in all her guises. This painting brings together many of her legends worldwide - as she is a part of the Celtic diaspora as well as a part of the indigenous people of Northern Europe and through the travels of people and spirits became a part of the African diaspora practices too. The mysteries abound.
